Entries will be accepted July 27 throguh August 11 and the main drop off location will be Dragonmead in Warren. Watch this site for additional drop off locations.
BOS and Awards ceremony will be September 1 at the Michigan State Fairgrounds.
From 324 entries in fifteen beer-only categories in 2004, the Michigan State Fair Home Brewing Competition has grown to 569 entries in all 28 beer, cider and mead categories in 2006, making it one of the largest competitions in the country. We expect even more entries this year.
This competition is becoming an enormous undertaking and would be impossible without the support of our sponsors, judges, stewards, and volunteers, whose enthusiasm and hard work are responsible for its success. Please be courteous to those who volunteer their time and talent by reading following the directions completely.
